Date: February 15th 2007

1. Candlelight Vigil: We will proceed with the candlelight vigil on Thursday, Feb 15th, in front of the library on Clark Atlanta University’s campus this Thursday at 7PM. The forecast will be 38 degrees but it will feel like 31 degrees. Please dress warm. Please try to bring a white candle. If you don’t have one, there will be candles available at the event. There is no set programming so feel free to come with song, poem or just special words.
2. The Funeral arrangements have not been determined. The family is in the process of making arrangements today. We will send an update on the arrangements tomorrow morning. We will also announce the arrangements at the candlelight vigil.
3. Donations for the Ken Batie estate is being accepted at Moods Music, Marco’s Pita, Earwax Records and all of the SECUR locations.
4. We will have a Paypal account set up by tomorrow morning for people that will not be able to visit one of the retail store mentioned above to make a donation. We will also send out the account number tomorrow as well if you would rather stop by a Wachovia Bank.
5. There will be a tribute Jam Session on Saturday night. The details are below:
